Accudata Service offers our clients access to a team of computer technicians ready to help your office manage the demanding day to day information technology needs. While our software support department can assist you with issues related to your Medisoft software, our IT team is available to assist you with all other computer related problems. The advantage to working with Accudata's IT Department is that our computer technicians are knowledgeable about the Medisoft software you are using in your office. Our IT department can assist your office via a number of options:


Online Support

If you have a high-speed internet connection available our IT team can get connected to your office to troubleshoot computer problems. Many times our IT team can resolve your technical support problems over the internet simply by connecting to your system and troubleshooting the issue remotely. The IT department is available Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and can be reached at (954) 746-0399.


Onsite Support

Occasionally you will need hardware replaced or computers repaired in your office. If your office is located in Palm Beach, Broward or Dade County we can schedule one of our IT Technicians to travel to your site. While onsite we offer a number of IT services:

  • Network installation, repair and/or troubleshooting
  • Replacement of network equipment
  • Installation of new computers
  • Repair or replacement of existing computers

Accudata Managed Services Plan

In 2012, we began offering Managed Services to our clients. By selecting this option our IT team will monitor your business network to ensure that you have less downtime and increased productivity. Our team is able to monitor your computer network 24/7 for symptoms of larger problems, as well as ensuring that you receive the updates your computers need to remain healthy.

HIPAA Security Risk Assessments

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) outlined mandated standards for health care facilities to comply with. In order to comply with HIPAA, medical offices are required to perform a Security Risk Assessment to identify and record potential risks and vulnerabilities to the confidentiality, integrity or availability of electronic protected health information.

In 2012, in order to assist our offices meet the requirements for Meaningful Use, Accudata's IT Department began conducting Risk Assessments for our offices located in the Tri-County area. Our Risk Assessment includes a site visit and interview to determine threat sources and vulnerabilities in your office. We then provide you with a report detailing this information and the potential risks in your office and assigning them a value of low, medium or high. If a risk is considered medium or high we will also provide recommendations for lowering the impact or likelihood of this risk. One of our technicians will discuss the findings of this assessment with your office and if desired we can then work with you to help implement technical measures to mitigate the risks discovered.

Our Risk Assessment follows the recommendations from the U.S. Department of Commerce National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-30 Revision 1.
